These new GM-Racing buggy tyres have been developed in collaboration with PMT.
A special rubber compound ensures maximum grip for 1 : 8 off-road competition work. The 05 compound is particularly suitable for preliminary rounds, whereas the 20 and 30 compounds are slightly harder, and therefore ideal for finals. The tyres are either supplied loose (always two tyres and two inserts), or factory-bonded to robust GM-Racing wheels. The complete wheels fit virtually all 1 : 8 buggy models currently available commercially. Additional profiles, such as Truggy wheels, are in preparation.
Action and Trapex are universal tyres for all slippery surfaces, but for greater grip on dust-free tracks you should switch to the Captor or Stars tyres. The Matrix is a special rain tyre for damp and sticky surfaces. A new product is the Matrix 2 profile which is perfect for what are known as “Blue Groove” conditions.
